On tap at Perry Street, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out lots of lactose upfront, with medium toasted malt. Flavour is roasty and lightly sweet, with lactose and medium roast. Creamy, cocoa-y palate. Solid.

This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown to black color with a one finger white to off white foamy head, nice and level, reminded me of how a Guinness looks. Rings of lacing lined the glass as the beer went down.
The smell had a rich sweet chocolate and blended roasty coffee notes.
The taste pretty much copied the smell and allowed a long rich sweet coffee aftertaste leading to a sweet dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability to sipping quality about it. Smooth roasted notes roll eloquently over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good sweet stout I would have again.
