A modern take on the San Diego-native West Coast IPA style, giving a nod to the old school while looking towards the future. We made this collab with our Miramar neighbors Alesmith using updated brewing techniques like dry hopping during fermentation, plus the use of some high-protein grains in the malt bill. The base of organic California bred, grown, and malted pale malt provides a sturdy base for the resinous and fruity Cashmere, Enigma, and Cryo Simcoe hops to express themselves. Expect an assertive and dank aroma, a soft mouthfeel, with a moderately bitter dry finish.
