Bottle 330ml. @ [ PBF X ] Petalax Beer Festival 2015 by oh6gdx, Petalax, Finland. [ As Hiisi Palokka Riihiruis ].Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, shoe polish, grass, wood, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, smoked, wood,dark malt, grass notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150724]

33cl bottle @PBF X. Dark brown, thin brown head. Smokey stuff, grätzer like. Flavor has smoke, tar, mint and malt. Thin but interesting.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Dark brown, rich firm head. Peaty smoky nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Metallic, caramelly, peaty and somewhat rubbery. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle 330ml. Deep brown color, steady beige head. Strong smokey nose, quite Bambergian. Light-bodied. Smokey, some citric hoppyness under the smoke. Nicely balanced rauchbier.

Bottled (from Lumo, Rauma). Deep ambery brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is smoked, mild tar and some slight beigeish notes. Flavour is smoked toffee, mild yeasty notes, some slight toffee as well as some rye bready notes as well. Quite pleasant flavour.
