Frozen and desolate, it takes mettle to slake thirst for gold in Barkerville, BC. Legend says lonely prospectors often resorted to reading product labels until they knew them by heart to preserve sanity amid the bitter isolation. In your hand rests a can worth memorizing.

473mL can, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out herbal notes, with light grassy, some skunky notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with a very herbal, grassy and even somewhat skunky character, with crisp biscuity malt. Grassy, herbal, rather skunky pilsner. Not one of the better local ones by a long shot.
