Rich golden colour, and a warming sensation, akin to the fiery sunset of an autumn evening. This traditional mead, fermented from a mixture of honey and maple syrup, is our fifth flavour dedicated to the history of mead. Smoothing sweetness and an elaborate aroma tango between the honey and maple, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Bottle pour at Mikkeller Singapore, pours a hazy amber. Aroma brings out maple syrup upfront, with lots of wildflower honey pretty much characterizing this. Flavour is not all that sweet, with subdued maple, fermented out wildflower honey, and a mineraly character. Lacking precision and has some strange seltzery notes. Needs work.
