Warm as the colour of golden amber. This is Nidhug. You immediately sense this full-bodied malted beer’s outstanding character. With a light touch of yeast aroma, caramel and chocolate, this beer’s elegant smoothness is sublimely counterbalanced by an outspoken spiciness. Danish rye lends power to every sip. Genuine Nordic enjoyment from time immemorial.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF tasting 2015 - London. Pours hazy dark gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds doughy bread and light caramel. Medium sweet flavor, a little papery, grainy. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry on the finish, with touches of leather, grain and faint coffee. So so.
