Months back, when things were still cool and the only thing you could catch at a brewer's conference was a good idea, we had our buds from 2 Crows Brewing over to christen our new foeders. They brought their fancy East Coast Brettanomyces strain and we threw down on typical Bad Boy activities like fancy cocktails and Lisa Loeb karaoke. We’re dangerous.
Now this is something special. After months spent soaking in fresh American oak we are proud to release Bad Boy Club, our Brett Foeder-Aged Saison. Our first foray into mixed culture fermentation. It's got a delicate acidity, notes of oak, tea, bubblegum, stone fruit, pepper spice and a distinct barnyard character from those Haligonian (that's actually the word) bugs.
Poppin’ in at 8.2%, this will take you from Sad Boy to Rad Boy.

On tap at Annex Ale Project, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out funky brett and some rustic saison yeast. Flavour is full of funky brett, rustic saison yeast and a little tart citrus. Funky and complex. This is really great.
