Our 2018 YYC Cider is made with all donated apples from Calgarians! This cider is fermented with native Calgary wild yeasts and aged for over 14 months.
This is the first fully native Calgary Cider! A large portion of all proceeds goes back to the Calgary Food Bank. This cider is a deep red in colour in part to it being half Calgary crab apples. It is bone dry with a tart, creamy lingering finish and a bit of funk on the nose

On tap at Uncommon, pours a cloudy golden orange, no head. Aroma is quite musty, with lots of wild yeast character exuding. Flavour is gently tart, with lots of musty wild yeast, dusty apple skins, and a champagne-like character. Finished very tart and wild. Not on the level of Spanish or French farmhouse ciders, but this is very solid.
