Bottle 330ml. [ As Sälens Pale Ale ].[ Trade by omhper ]. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grass - floral, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150619]

Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma is quite nothing with mild hayish malt and toffee. Flavour has ashy tones, some grapefruit, nettles and minerals. Messy and too dry.

Unclear dark golden color with a fine white head. A very caramel malt driven ale. Some citrus and mild fruity. Medium body. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter. A bit boring actually.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours deep golden to light amber with a modest white head. Moderate malty and fruity aroma with mild citrus, hints of grass and caramel. Medium sweet with malty and fairly mild hoppy flavours and a rather modest bitterness. Fair enough, but not impressive.
