Imperial Marzen lagered in brandy barrels for 4 months. Subtley sweet with a rich biscuit and toasted bread character, decent brandy flavor and aroma with subtle oak tannins. Hopped with Hallertau Mittelfruh.

On tap at Griffin Claw, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very boozy, with lots of brandy barrels, toasted bready malt, and some caramel. Flavour is full of brandy barrels, followed by caramel and toasted bread. Dominated by the barrels. Fun stuff, but the M�rzen character is indiscernible.
