Northwest English IPA
Truly Northwest meets English IPA in approach and balance. Using new English varietals of hops we employ modern IPA brewing techniques to create a unique IPA. 100% English pale malt lays a balanced foundation of sweet, nutty malts to showcase UK Jester and Olicana hops. Enormous amounts of both Jester and Olicana are used late in the kettle to create bright tropical notes of lychee, passionfruit, and mango. We double dry hop Away Days both during and after fermentation has occurred with substantial amounts of Jester, Olicana, and Azacca. Floral aromas blend with ripened mango, grapefruit zest, and a slight dank resinous character. Away Days IPA blends our approach to English balance brewed to Northwest expectations.

On tap at Providence Park. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of grass with some wet live and a bit of bread backing. Flavor has earthy citrus rind abs grass with a touch of pine and a bread backbone.

On tap at Away Days, pours a bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops upfront, with some resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with bitter piney hops, crisp biscuity malt, and orange rinds. Piney and sharp. Decent.
