Can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose reveals roasted malt, smoky earthy notes, and some piney hops -- nice aromatics. Flavour follows suit, with smoky earthy malt, moderate roast, and nicely bitter piney hops. Great balance between roast and hops, with that smoky tinge adding a nice element. Finishes moderately bitter for the style. Excellent.

Black colour, medium sized beige head. Mild roast in the aroma. It has a good body strength, the mouthfeel is mostly dry; big roast character, black malt, ashes; the bitterness is in balance, there are some hop resins underneath; it ends slightly metallic.
It's ok.
