A very rare and extremely special cognac barrel aged ice cider from 2015 vintage heritage apples. Boozy notes of baked apple pie, caramel and baking spices. Serve chilled as an apertif or digestif.

Tasting at Ryan's, corked bottle
Hazy golden color. Aroma of brandy (Calvados comes to mind). Sweet, balanced acidity, apple juice flavour, lacking a bit in depth, with notes of brandy; light astringency, some apple skins in the finish.
Not very complex, but good nevertheless.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Amber orange with tiny ring of white head. Light brandy barrel, sweet apple, treacle. Quite nice, but overpriced.

375ml (thx, !) @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy golden with no head. Aroma: nice sweet and sour baked apples. Taste: nice body, apple skins, some slight barrel notes, some booziness. Overall: good one.

Vintage 215. 375mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a tiny ring of white head. Aroma is full of cognac barrels upfront, treacle toffee, and stewed apples. Flavour is sweet and sticky, with cognac barrels, stewed apples, sticky caramel, treacle toffee, and alcohol. Stewed apples, sweet, sticky and boozy. Maybe not one of the best ice ciders compared to the top Quebec ones, but it's pretty sublime. Excellent.
