Heinrich celebrates the rich history of farming malts in the Pacific Northwest. Brewed with buckwheat malted by Skagit Valley Malts and grown in the fertile Columbia Basin by Kisler Farms - a five generation farm homestead by Heinrich Kisler and his family since 1905. A billowing and silky body, Heinrich presents notes of dried date skins, honey and tropical fruit.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite earthy and farmhouse-y, with rustic saison yeast, earthiness, and a touch of funk. Flavour is rustic, with a fairly good clarity from the yeast, gentle funk, and some toasted earthy grains. Rustic, subtly tart and earthy. Good stuff.
