Unexpectedly, and seemingly out of thin air, a storm of Canadian Wheat, German yeast, and Galaxy hops manifests over the open sea. Sailors be warned: when waves suddenly rise with caps of white, you may find yourself surrounded by a deliciously unexpected combination of flavours. Nuances of cloves, passionfruit, and a bread-like soft finish comfort you as you ride out the White Squall.

473mL can, pours a cloudy bright orange amber with a medium white head. Nose is full of spicy and citrus hops, with plenty of resins, orange peel, and bready caramel malt. Flavour is much along the same lines, with bitter, spicy hops, bitter orange peel, a touch of resins, gentle esters, and toasted caramel malt. A bit too estery, and a bit too harshly bitter, but pleasant enough. Okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, turns out being darker than most Hazies. Some aroma of citrus peel, but too mild. There is a bit of spice with the malt, that could be the yeast; the hops are not particularly bright, there's some bitter orange; unfortunately, it ends wwith a high level of pithy bitterness.
Nothing spectacular here, but it may be drinkable, with food.
