On tap at Pure Project - Carlsbad, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of earthy rye, light bourbon, and subdued maple syrup. Flavour is complex, with loads of maple syrup, bourbon (but not actually the rye character), and sweet caramel. Lots of sweet maple syrup and caramel on the finish, with plenty of the barrels felt. Lovely.
