Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, touches of cream and dark chocolate. Modest cognac soaked fruits. Mild floralness before a tangy dark fruit finish. Mild tangy linger. Nice enough but wanted a lot more richness.

Bottle at level 42, care of Ken. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, vinous, fruit cake, treacle, roasted malt, almond biscotti, dried fruit and Eccles cake. The taste is slick, rich, earthy roast, warming boosty alcohol, strewed fruits, candied peel, treacle, nutty, biscotti and rocky road with a warming finish, full body and moderate carbonation. A touch hot and harsh initially, but not that bad.
