Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, amber-brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Tangy dark malt nose with dusty cocoa accents. light sweet flavor with dry chocolate, licorice, faint rubber, burnt sugars, ripe dark fruits and mild dirt bitterness. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Dry roasted malt finish with burnt earth bitterness, dusty cocoa, faint dried fruits. Slow start, good finish.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 17/04/13. Light black with a thin beige head that retains well. Nose is light roast malt, mineral tones, dark toffee. Taste comprises bitter roasts, light chocolate, molasses, treacle toffee, leather. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, fairly smooth on the palate. Decent enough stout.
