(750ml bottle from Buvette Scott, Quebec City) Pours fairly clear medium gold with a decent white head and no lace. Aroma of perfumed spring wildflowers, rustic grains, lightly tart pale stone fruit, saison yeast of a balanced (not overly estery/phenolic) variety, softly funky, reasonably prominent oak, some bitterness. Flavour is dry and lightly tart, very mineral and spritzy, notes of golden plum and light lemon peel, soft lactic acid, crushed wildflowers (especially middle to finish), rustic cereal grains, 'classic' Auval flora with some saison qualities and light 'cellar/attic' Brett, very mineral and soda-like water profile, finish is a bit short because of the minerality and quite some drying wood, though there are some plum skins and dusty grains in there. Light bodied, spritzy but fairly smooth bottle conditioned carbonation. A classic Auval farmhouse with a bit of plum character rather than a heavy fruit beer, quite enjoyable as such. I thought the minerality was higher than typical for them, which curtailed the finish to its detriment.

Cloudy blond colour. Nice aroma, perfumey, light funk, stone fruit. Dry, moderatly sour, very astringent, quite mineral. Nothing special.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy gold with small white head. Saison yeast, prunes, slightly rustic.

750ml (thx, Jonathan D.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: very flowery and fruity, some funk, nice barrel notes. Taste: moderately sour, lots of rustic notes, minerally, quite woody, noticeable hoppy bitterness, some fruity and ascorbic notes. Overall: pretty good, but I was expecting something more balanced.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose reveals the fruit upfront, with a nice rustic saison yeast character, lots of prunes, and a touch of oak. Flavour is quite seltzery and muted, with faded, earthy prunes, some rustic farmhouse notes, and gentle acidity. The palate has too much of that seltzery character, which seems to undermine any complexity that might be here. Mediocre.
