This version of our English mild is made with Maris Otter malt - the classic English ale malt. Maris Otter has a mildly nutty and bready aroma and, when combined with a classic English yeast, produces a classic pub ale.

On tap at R & B, pours a dirty, muddy dark brown with a tiny beige head. Nose is very dirty, with a dirty water character and old faint coffee grounds. Flavour is a little better, with a very watery earthy character. This doesn't have the palate of a classic mild at all. Poor.
