Handbill cask at the West End Brewery, Leicester. Dark brown and slightly translucent with a spotty khaki head. Coffee-laden aroma with some plum and whisky notes. Taste is mostly sweet but not sickly, and blanaced with a berry-like bitterness which increases slightly through to the finish. Liquoice and coffee notes in the aftertaste. Pretty damn good.

Black, beige head. Earthy malt and coffee in the aroma. Taste follows suit, with a bit of milk chocolate so itโs not super dry. Light, toasty malt aftertaste.

Cask at GBBF 2017, day 3 - London. Pours clear brown with a small, foamy tan head. The nose holds toasted malts, brown bread, berries, vague cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with some burnt toffee, mellow ashy roast, dried berries, rubber. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more ashy roast, bitter cocoa. Alright.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol, 12/12/2016. Near black with a tight, off-white, head. Aroma of plain chocolate, toasted malts and porridge oats. Flavour had sweetish, toasty, malts, more chocolate, and a hint of dark fruit before a moderately dry finish. Good.
