Glass shared with Matt and Andrew. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: ridiculous amount of peat with some fruitiness coming. Taste: along the same lines, tons of peat and wood. Overall: woof, good beer for peat lovers and terrible for me.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of funky brett, roasted malt, and lots of peat. Flavour is wonderfully smoky, with a really nice peated smokiness upfront, followed by light funky brett, and some toasted notes. Peaty and just enough sweetness to back. Very nice unusual beer.
