Oh, November in Seattle. With rain and the cold, comes anticipation and celebration. But what happens when you can’t find it? We could call it even, and you can drink this beer for the weekend. Tis the damn season, write this down. We’re brewing in a malty ‘house, and the red not taken looks real good now. Pine flies, hoppy like the bite from the old times. Now we’re missing old times, hear us out. We could just ride around and drink northwest red ale hopped with Chinook & Simcoe all damn year. Why don’t we do that? WHY CAN’T WE JUST HAVE THIS ONE THING ALL YEAR ROUND. If it’s ok with you, it’s ok with us. And Taylor Swift.

On tap at Cloudburst on Shilshole, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops and bready malt. Flavour is loaded with resinous hops, toasted bread, and caramel malt. Really nicely structured; this is excellent.

Taster shared with Matt and Andrew at Ballard's location. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: fruity and caramel malts. Taste: a lot of nice fruity notes, nice malts, floral bitterness. Overall: quite good.

Enjoyed on draft at Cloudburst, Shilshole. A mostly clean, copper appearance with a big, off white soap bubble head. Love this red, full of big, bold bitter hops. Toasty malt, warming red to match the grey. Moderate carb, soft metallic late. Long lingering toast, earthy malts, and a resinous hop finish. Super swell hoppy red here.
