Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a creamy and lacing, beige head. Spicy nose - clove, star anise? Medium body, subtle roast, dry with quite some spices. A little late bitterness. Easygoing - and decent for what it is. 271214

Bottle. Dark amber to brown in color, lightly hazy, with a dense, finger-thick beige head on top. The aroma has a touch of Belgian yeast, with caramel, something lightly spiced, a hint of brown sugar and some pine cones. The flavor is semi-sweet, with caramel, some cloves and bread and a decent bitterness. Full-bodied and smooth. Lasting finish with a little bitterness. Quite decent this one, but not sure if it deserves a 3.6. 141108

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy darkish ruby / copper brown, with airy off-white head. Clear atoma of hops, ciyrus and caramel malt. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, with fruity and estery notes and touches of hops, citrus and spices. Rough, sweetish finish. Not a golden ale, in spite of the claim to this effect on the label. Hints of diacethylene. Drinkable but nothing special.
