We challenge ourselves to make as dark a beer as possible with using pre-roasted malt. We roasted the hell out of some locally grown wheat, adding color and a rich, roasty flavor to this rounded, lightly tart dark beer.

On tap at Garden Parh, pours an opaque, somewhat muddy amber brown with a huge beige head. Aroma is really unusual, with tart fruits, weirdly roasted—almost smoked—malt, and light bugs. Flavour is experimental alright, with lots of tartness, light smoked malt, some roast, and bugginess. That's a real unusual one. I was a bit turned off at first, but more time refers some nice elegance about this. Solid stuff.
