On tap at Grains of Wrath PDX, pours an opaque dark amber / burgundy with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice combo of toasted nuts, clove, banana, and bread crusts — true to style. Flavour follows suit, with clove, toasted nuts and banana, with a dry crusty bready malt base that reins in the sweetness. Competently made.
