The first in our heritage series, Amelia is a highly carbonated, low-alcohol smoked snack. Sometimes called Polish Champagne, Grodziskie is bright, sparkly, and smokey. Single decocted and brewed almost exclusively with oak smoked wheat malt, Amelia has complex notes of sweet applewood smoke and water cracker, with a spritzy and mineral body.

Taster flight at Hillsboro location. Pale golden pour, crispy head, streaky lacing. Light smoky aroma, campfire. Taste is bready, mellow with a gentle smoky character. Soft on the palate.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is soft and smoky, with gentle campfire smoke pervading the nostrils, with a soft pillowy wheat base. Flavour is clean and well-constructed, with a nice smokiness that pervades the palate. Soft wheatiness on the base. Crisp and nicely smoky on the finish. Good.
