On tap at Hair of the Dog, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is decadent, with intense bourbon barrels, oak, vanilla and dark chocolate — smells wonderful. Flavour is absolutely sublime, with intense bourbon barrels, lots of woody oak, and a hint of dark cocoa. This takes me back to the late 2000s/early 2010s when BBA stouts we're all pastrified. Just wonderful stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is chocolate forward with light roast and a bit of sweet dark grains. Flavor has earthy dank grains and chocolate with a nutty roast and a bit of maple backing.
