On tap at Great Notion - Ballard, pours black with a small brown head. Nose brings out dry cocoa, rosewater, and raspberry, with a touch of toasted malt undergirding this. Flavour is like a raspberry chocolate cake, with a touch of rosewater. There's some moderate roasted malt in here as well to hold it together. On the subtler side for Great Notion pastry stouts, but still quite forceful and well-integrated. Very good.
