Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can drink before september 5, 2014 date, from blutt59, poured into a snifter. Aroma is big citrus, medium body, medium carbonation, and little big bubble lacing. Taste is tropical fruit, grapefruit, some herbal hop backing. Back to back with sculpin, not necessarily worse than sculpin, just different. Not sure if its a golden ale, but it is an awesome IPA. Nice surprise blutt59!

Sample at Meddlesome Moth. Clear golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hops and citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can. A lightly hazy, golden beer with a small, dense off-white head. Fruity, piney aroma with little to none malt aroma. Hay and tropical fruits. Medium body, dry, pleasant carbonation. Mostly fruity, piney, or maybe spruce like flavor with a fine bitterness. Lasting bitter finish. Dangerously easy drinkable and quite tasteful. 131101

Got in a trade with Cyde. 12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 8/20/2013. Pours moderately cloudy pale golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, light honey, and dank floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dank hop notes with a light malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of dank floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice complexity and balance of dank hop flavors; with a light-moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hoppy blonde ale. All around nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. Really enjoyed this one.

Can at BTBF. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a white head. Aromas are of hops: grassy, tangerine, citrus and fruity. Very mild malt structure, light fermentation esters. Hops are show cased. Flavors are grassy, tons of dry hop resin character, citrus, herbaceous, tangerine. Grainy and dry. Lively carbonation, low body with a dry and crisp finish. I’d definitely pick up a few cans of this if it were locally available and fresh.

Cask at Petrol Station. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with small off white head diminishing quickly. The aroma is strong floral hops, pine, and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a strong bitter hop bite with resin and citrus flavors and lingering bitter finish. Alcohol present but not overpowering. A very nice variation of the Firemans 4.
