A big, bold, stout brewed with generous amounts of English crystal malt and roasted barley. It's hopped yet balanced with malt sweetness and a full-bodied mouthfeel. This beer aged for 12 months in 10 year old Elijah Craig barrels. This smooths out the beer and contributes notes of wood, whiskey and vanilla.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
On tap at Chuck's Hop Shop - Greenwood, pours jet black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle bourbon barrels upfront and moderate roast. Flavour is rather obscured, with gentle roast, subtle bourbon barrels, and a hint of vanilla. On the dry side for a BBA impie, but constructed well and drinkable. Good, but not an elite BA impie.
