This blend of young and old dark wild ales combines a rich, gently sweet malt base with tart acidity and a hint of barrel character derived from one third of the blend maturing in Florio Marsala barrels in our wild cellar. Enjoy fresh for notes of almond rocha, figs, fudge, and tart cherry pie—Or let it develop further in the bottle, allowing the wild character to develop complexity over time.

500mL bottle, pours a filthy dark diarrhea amber brown with almost no head. Nose brings out red wine notes, a bunch of bugs, tart dark red fruits, and wood. Flavour is full of dark tart red fruits, lots of bugs, red wine barrels, and cherry pie. The big problem here is the totally flat carbonation -- why do this? This needs some carb to elevate the different flavours. As is, this falls a little flat, but the flavours are nice. Disappointing overall from Block 15.
