Clear bottle with a shitty bubble jet printed label at Lonestar Beverage. Batch 1, bottle 82 of 620, 11% abv. Pint glass back at the lodge. Dirty, yeasty neck & cap. Soda spritz, yeasty straw pour. Very floral. Wildflowers, sweet nectar, sour fruit, rubber, lime, marzipan, clay. Sour funk, rubber, pear, sweet onion, lemony-tart grape skins, varnish, wax. Thin, sharply carbed, drying, bit of wax clotting up the finish. Hidden strong acidity. Hot abv. It's a bit over-complex for my neanderthal brain as I struggle to associate with any one of the random flavors. Are they a good match or is this just jazzy noise in a bottle? Good in small doses.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out musty dry grape skins, champagne-like effervescence, and crisp apple skins. Flavour has lots of dry grape skins, some lemon, pear, and champagne-like effervescent. Assertive, vinous, musty and almost bone dry. This works well.
This is encroaching on wine territory real fast, damn dry with just hints of sweetness on the finish. Really would never guess it was a mead of any kind. the body, the nose, the mouthfeel all yell wine with a cider or light seltzer finish. Mimosa mats?
