16 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a medium beige head. Nose is full of toffee and caramel upfront, followed by oak barrels, and a hint of resinous hops buried underneath. Flavour is richly malty, with deep toffee and caramel malt, followed by a healthy dose of resinous hops, and rounded out by oak barrels that impart a subtle vanilla character. Great malt depth, with nice hop accentuation and oak character to finish. Excellent.

Draft 13 oz pour at Hop and Hound. A somewhat brownish red appearance with a thin foam head. Definitely reached winter warmer season officially. This one is packed full of fantastic whiskey notes. Really well executed barrels here. Whiskey wood and toffee nose. Whiskey flavor over any harsh bite. Smooth taste. A touch dry on the end, with hints of dark fruit and caramel. Unique brew. Really interesting.
