500ml @ SF shared with Brian and Phill.
Aroma: American oak, leather, some sweetness and dark chocolate.
Taste: along the same lines with fruity notes brought by red wine barrels. Finishes with toasted oak notes.
Overall: quite complex and good one.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels, chocolate, molasses, a touch of dark fruits, and dark sugars. Flavour is robust, with lots of wood, bourbon, roasted malt, a touch of dark sugars, and a hint of black liquorice. Lots of wood, moderate roast, and a hint of molasses. Finishes woody and roasty, with below average (for the style) residual sweetness.
