*This one is named after the stingless Melipona Bee ?—the reason that Mexican Vanilla thrives in Mexico, and did not produce pods when the plant was brought to other environments. Cheers!!

16 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. Dark cola brown pour, decent amount of lasting espresso brown head. Vanilla really jumps out here. Vanilla chocolate dessert aroma. Darker chocolate. Not too sweet. Has a bitter note that pairs well with the subtle vanilla and cream sweetness. Toasty finish, some coffee / mocha is a bog flavor, and keeps the palate full. Imperial and balanced. Very well done stout here.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small light brown head. Nose brings out plenty of medium roasted coffee, a little vanilla, and roasted malt. Flavour is rich and roasty, with roasted malt, coffee and a hint of vanilla. Hearty and full with a nice deep roast but not all that complex.
