On tap at Oakshire Public House, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of molasses, bitter dark cocoa and a little roast. Flavour is full of bitter dark chocolate, with moderate roast and just a subtle kiss of toasted coconut. Bitter, dry, chocolatey, with very low residual sweetness compared to any modern pastry stouts, but this works to its advantage. Very nice stuff.
