From bottle at Bierfestival Groningen 2017. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, touch of ash, some earthy notes and dark chocolate with a hint of peat. Flavour is moderate sweet and nicely bitter. Body is medium. Nicely roasty Dunkel-ish beer.

Draught @ Danske Ølentusiaster Festival, Lokomotivværkstedet, 2023. Pours amber copper with a small white head. Toasted, bready malty. Nutty. Clean though slightly bland and lacking a bit of soul.

Bottled. Deep coppery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is earthy, some chocolate, ash, some caramel and mild toasted elements. Flavour is chocolate, some ash, mild earth, wood and some slight dried fruit elements. Nicely somewhat dry palate. Nice toasted and chocolaty aftertaste.

very dark brown, nearly pitch dark, smooth light brown head. solid roasted malty aroma, depth, faint smoked notes. Flavor is roasted malts, sweet malts resembling honey, roasted to smoked notes, nice aftertaste. Pretty good flavor for the style and percentage change, A very solid one if this kind.

Fra flaske på DØE Lokomotivhallen mai-16 (dag 2) med Steven: gylden med ok skum. Mørk brun med ok skum. Dejlig balance mellem mørke malter og humler, og biterheden sidder fint i efetersmagen. Kaffe og mørk sjokolade sammen med nogle fyrrenåle gør susen - nu er vi i gang!
