On tap at O.H.S.O. - Arcadia, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is pretty exquisite, with loads of whiskey and bourbon barrels, perhaps some spirit, along with dark dried fruits and brown sugars. Flavour is ridiculous, with a ridiculous barrel aged character that offers notes of cognac, sherry, bourbon, who knows what else. There's a rich malt backbone to hold it together. It's sweet but the sweetness is kept in check by the booze, which itself is somehow restrained given the near-17% level. Pretty delicious.
