From a bottle it looks and smells like a cheap pale lager with a medium rocky head. Yes, decent pilsner bite, like the old country. Since its not noon, really about 3, tastes a little late, heheh. Yes, fairly mild as far as hops go so its it a tad refreshing, even when its not really cold. OK overall.

35,5 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg. Aroma has hayish malt, cereal and some sweet popcorn tones. Flavour has grapefryuity hops, grass, some grainy malt and sweetish fruity tones. Finishes with menthol. A solid pils with slight American twist.

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out skunky grassy notes - not much else. Flavour is pretty simple - with grassy notes and biscuity malt. Not as impressive as the average rating suggests but pretty clean.

Bottle. Pours amber shade of golden, a bit of foam. Not much aroma, more of a crisp, breezing feel. Tastes fresh, nice malt balance and highly drinkable. Unfortunately I am not getting much of a hop feeling going on here, maybe some bittering hops somewhere there but I’d like a bit more. Overall, nice beer for a longer drinking session I guess. Works also as a good starter for the evening.

Bottle thanks to Ben! Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light grain and a bit of bread with a light crisp grass note. Flavor has a combination of grass and grain with a crisp finish.

Live rate: 27th May 2015. 12oz bottle into a plastic beaker, hotel room Oceanside, California. Golden, clear body, full and lasting white head (unusuel for a Pilsner in my experience). Aroma weak and uninspiring, mild grain esters if I am being kind. The taste also a it bit bland and basic: not at all what I was expecting from this well respected brewery. Nothing bad, but nothing to set it aside from thousands of other beers in this style.
