Colchester Beer Festival at the Colchester Arts Centre. Cask. Almost clear pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Feels like good condition. Light pale malts, semi sweet. Nice floral - pine start to the hops with a little hop skunk following on. Light but lively citrus bites, lime notable. Finishes light and semi dry with a mild bitter linger. Very well hopped but light and drinkable. Excellent cask delivered hop forward treat.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - melon and papaya. Some lime lurking in there. Taste - more tropical fruit and citrus on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry but elegant finish. Overall - looks nice, smells great and tastes delicious.

CAsk at Cloisters. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Light tropical fruit aromas, white grape, citrus. Taste is light sugary sweet, then bitterness coming through in a good snappy way. Light body, crisp finish. Nice.
