On tap at BottleHouse, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of brett, along with bready malt and toasted caramel — odd combo. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of brett dominating, having eaten all the sugars. There‘s nary a trace of barley wine elements — bready malt, caramel, dark fruits — left. Very dry and bretty. Not sure how well this works, though it is competently brewed for what it is, I guess.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark orange-honey color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was musty with molasses, sugar, golden fruit and bread dough. The flavor was musty, bretty and sweet with dried apricots, dough and wood. Long finish. Full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Interesting.
