Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 28 July. Pours cloudy dark coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, malt and barrel, with touches of yeast. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour with barrellike notes and touches of malt and yeast. Hints of fruit. Barrellike and roasty aftertaste with estery hints. A good one.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, licorice, wood and whisky. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 280718

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, wood, whisky, alcohol and has a nice bitter warming finish.

Tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa in Rome. Black oil pour with a dark brown foam. Nose: whiskey is there, charming and fresh, cherry chocolate. Mouth: not sweet (+), round, chocolate, warm whiskey (hidden) mouthfeel, tart/bitter.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours dark brown-black with beige head. Aroma is sweet, vanilla, roast, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, vanilla, chocolate, malt, slight booze. Finish is sweet and roasty. Overall: very good.

Draft at TCBW 2018. Dark brown almost black, brown head with good retention. Aroma of dark coffee, vanilla, dark fruit. Taste is rich fruity cooffee, silky smooth mouthfeel. Very nice.

Ciemna barwa, piana koloru beżowego opada z lacingiem. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty drewna do tego dochodzą nuty kawowe oraz gorzkiej czekolady. W smaku na pierwszy plan również wychodzą nuty drewna, w dalszym planie majaczą nuty whisky. Po ogrzaniu alkohol mocno wyczuwalny.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles's place. Thanks Stas & Max. Black, brown foam. Chocolate, whiskey, wood, roast, alcohol, some dark fruits, licorice, sweet, sourish, some peaty smoke, bitterish finish, quite full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Very nice.
