5oz shared with Phill during Zwanze 2022. Appearance: almost clear copper with a white head. Aroma: grapes, barrel, weird phenols. Taste: along the same lines, extremely dry. Overall: meh.

On tap at Garden Path, pours a clear ros colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is full of phenols — wtf is going on? — with bone dry grape skins and a touch of funk. Flavour has notes of black pepper, intensely dry grape skins, and again with the phenols. This is still flawed — like with the 2018 — in the phenol department. Needs some serious rejigging.
