Number of Bottles: 272/1559/14 | Packaging: 375ml, 750ml champagne bottle and 1500ml magnum
This cuvée of three beers (a sour brown fermented with wild yeast, a blonde ale fermented with brettanomyces yeast and a clean saison) has been matured in a 2400 liter chianti foudre for 18 months before release. After maturation we only packaged two thirds and left the rest of the beer in the barrel, where it was topped up with fresh beer. A form of simplified solera system, that provides complexity and aged notes to the beer in a year or two.

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Dorée, pas de col. Arôme sur un bouquet un peu off, effet de wild ale, sans vraiment apporté l'élément qui tend vers un saison type belge sur une influence américaine, je suppose? Palais est plat, pas d'effervescence, grains épais sur impression de fermenté, ponctué par un fini légèrement fruité. Le funk et farmhouse effet persistent - léger boisé sur la fin, mais le tout reste assez décevant.

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A almost clear orange deep golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart orange fruits, herbs, red malt, some ginger. Taste of herbal malt, red fruits, grapes, some apples, quite interesting.

Sampled at BXL festival. Hazy dull amber with beige head. Sweet malts, obvious red wine, light caramel, spur grainy with light lactic notes and some spicy yeast. Light apricot and old wood. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.

7 3 7 3 15Draft at BXL Beerfest ‘18, Brussels. Slight hazy golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, oak and vinous notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0,15l taster at BXLBeerfest. dark yellow hazy color, almost no head. smells earthy, fruity, musty, citric, spices, peppery, grassy. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, berry notes, earthy, spices, peppery, bit lactic, herbal. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of berries, earthy and spicy notes. quite nice one. 7, 4, 7, 3, 15
