On tap at Societe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out wonderfully tangy, spicy hop notes, with white wine and citrus tang. Flavour is bright and wonderfully expressive, with tons of white wine-like hops, citrus tang, and light spiciness. Bright, tangy, vinous. Oh man, what a hop expression. Lovely.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a nice clear gold body that supports an off white head leaving behind spotty lacing. The aroma is a-typical –wow- . . . what is this. It’s like dried peaches, asphalt, kind of gravel (in a good way), hoppy gravel, earthy, um some grassiness, lime and then sort of a subtle chili pepper like fleshiness. Oh man! The taste starts a little spicy that’s kind of peppery but not peppery and then it gets into mix of grapefruit pith and pineapple. To midway earthy and flowery notes converge with the initial flavors. Toward the finish grassy sort of lime takes this up to the end with the remaining notes fading away. Wow! Interesting for sure. Into the after taste a floral sort of perfume counter sensation lingers for a bit. These notes try to come together and they do for the most part but I’m left wondering if I like this or not really. If I was in the right mood I would definitely have this again. It’s a fun ride.
