Bottle, mooch tasting, courtesy of the gang
Cloudy golden colour, bright, with almost no head; noticing chunks in the bottle, not pouring them in the glass. Aroma: bugs, mild herbal character (botanics). Too bad that the carbonation is now low; it's dry, astringent, but the acidity is mild, and it blends well with the sour berry elements and the mild botanicals.
Interesting.

750ml (thx, Charles S.!) @ Matt's new place. Appearance: pale copper with a white head. Aroma: gin and fermented raspberries. Taste: along the same lines - gin and fermented-out berries. Overall: weird, but ok.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale ros colour with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out gentle, tart raspberry, gin barrels, and gentle buggy, rustic saison yeast. Flavour is bizarre, with tons of gin barrels, very very light raspberries, seltzery notes, and a touch of rustic notes. This is very strange. Not harsh, but there's also nothing all that pleasant about it. Drinkable but why drink it?
