500ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: pours like oil, very dark brown with no head. Aroma: some booze, heavy, some berries. Taste: very intense, berries, chocolate, brown sugars, some barrels. Overall: nice one.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with almost no head. Aroma is super rich, with lots of rich, lightly tart boysenberries, some blackberries, granola and a hint of cinnamon. Flavour is super rich, with intense bourbon barrels that meld beautifully with the boysenberries, a touch of granola, and an even slighter touch of cinnamon. On the boozy side, but the flavours cohere nicely, with a lightly tart berry and bourbony finish. Very tasty.

Pours black, looks flat and thick. Smells super jammy fruity, lots of dark berries, bourbon too. Real thick body, fairly low carbed, medium warming boozyness. Taste is sweet with a light roasty bitter. Huge amount of berries, bourbon. Cinnamon at the end.

Pours like crude oil-thick, no head, a dark stain on the glass as it swirls. Definitely boysenberry up front, there’s a sweetness from the barrels, but mellow and not too much cinnamon. Getting some oat and granola at the end. Smooth and not boozy for ABV
