Keg at the brewery, 9/12/23. Clear gold, medium off-white head, good retention. Aroma of candied orange, pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, orange, melon, dank. Low bitterness.

12 oz. can, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of orange rinds, grapefruit peel, and bitter citrus hops. Flavour is somewhat harsh and bitter, with grapefruit peel, some fusel alcohols, bitter citrus hops, and some caramel bready malt. It's on the harsh side — not because the hops are too potent but because the balance isn't quite rigid and there may be some slight fermentation issues. Overall, not bad but far from a top tier west coast IIPA.
