Draft pour enjoyed at Container, Vancouver. Clean copper appearance, again, odd for the brown ale style, but it can be a masterbof disguise if it wants. Smooth taste with lots of vanilla notes and a dry oak finish. Smooth body. Nice.

On cask at Container, pours a clear amber with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a touch of the oak. Flavour is rather metallic, bringing out oak, bready malt and a hint of vanilla. More metallic than the base beer, probably due to the casking. The oak has some nice vanillins but the cask treatment doesn't help it. Okay.
